SIT Services for California

While Cal/OSHA has many state-specific regulations that differ from federal OSHA, one of the most significant is the requirement for companies to have an SIT license in order to perform certain fall protection services. Diversified Fall Protection is a California-approved SIT agency, allowing us to provide SIT-specific services in addition to our usual products and systems. These include EBM inspection and recertification, pre-use inspection and letter of written assurance services, and OPOS creation. It sets Diversified apart as the only full-service fall protection partner in the state of California.

Equipment Inspections & Letters of Written Assurance

California requires that any vendor performing work on a rooftop have a letter of written assurance from an SIT agency, such as Diversified Fall Protection. We can perform inspections of suspended access rooftop equipment and provide the required assurance to vendors needing to access the roof or use that equipment. We are also able to ensure that the vendors accessing the roof have sufficient knowledge and training to work safely. If the vendors require additional training we can provide it.
